More than 400 Charities Applied for the 2022 Grants 

The holidays are off to a great start for 23 North Texas charities who were selected as a grant recipient for Park Place Dealerships’ Season of Giving campaign. The nonprofits were awarded a total of $100,000 to help in their efforts to continue serving the community. 

“Season of Giving is an incredible opportunity for our company to support charities that often get overlooked,” said Kara Connor, Experiential Marketing Manager at Park Place Dealerships. “We launched this program in 2021 to provide assistance to organizations that hadn’t received any type of financial support from us before and it was a huge success and are thrilled to do it again this year.”  

The chosen organizations are diverse in their missions and the areas they serve throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. The charities receiving a grant for the 2022 Season of Giving representing Park Place Cares’ four pillars include:

A committee comprised of Park Place members from the nine dealerships across North Texas selected the non-profits this year out of more than 400 applications received. Under Park Place Cares, the company’s philanthropic arm, the company donated $100,000 to 23 charities that met the following criteria:

• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
• Supports one of Park Place Cares’ pillars of giving, which include: Education; Medical; Advocacy; or the Arts
• Serves at least one of the following counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Ellis, Rockwall, Kaufman, Hunt or Johnson
• The charity cannot have received donations or in-kind support from Park Place in 2022.

“We have an incredible team serving clients every day who are also passionate about making a difference in the communities where they live and work,” said Tony Carimi, Managing Director of Park Place Dealerships. “Park Place Members are actively engaged in choosing the nonprofits to support financially and volunteering throughout the year. As we wrap up Season of Giving, we are launching the Park Place Week of Service where more than 300 Members will volunteer across North Texas with 20 charities. We continually hear from local charities about the need for volunteers and we have a very generous group of people who enjoy serving others. It will be another great week partnering with organizations who are strengthening our communities every day.”
